Elizabeth "Betty" Jane Lamb Boyd

Betty was born in Bordeaux, France where her father was working for the YMCA. She was raised in Minneapolis, MN and graduated from Macalester College with a master's degree. She proudly served in the Women's Army Corp in WWII where she met her husband, Milton. They raised six children in Rock Island, Il and Gig Harbor, WA. Betty and Milt both taught in the Peninsula School District.
Betty traveled extensively, quoted poetry readily, and remained an informed Democrat throughout her life. She will be remembered for her unflagging devotion to her family, her church, and local theater.
